Stainless Steel Quick Passivation Agent

Our ACEP-PRE-010 is a high-performance passivation solution developed to address the needs of modern stainless steel surface treatment. It eliminates ingredients that typically cause red residues on the steel surface, resulting in a clear and transparent solution that delivers a smoother finish. The passivation film forms quickly and densely, offering enhanced corrosion resistance without altering the original color or dimensions of the stainless steel workpieces. This product significantly boosts the steel's resistance to salt spray, ensuring long-lasting protection and durability in demanding environments.

Key Advantages

  • Fast Film Formation: The passivation process is completed in just 15-20 minutes, forming a fully-developed, corrosion-resistant protective film.
  • Low Acidity: With a lower acidity level compared to conventional passivation agents, ACEP-PRE-010 is ideal for non-standard stainless steel alloys, minimizing the risk of discoloration during treatment.
  • Enhanced Corrosion Resistance: Compared to older passivation products, ACEP-PRE-010 offers superior corrosion resistance, particularly in environments where salt spray exposure is a concern.
  • Wide Applicability: This product is compatible with a broad range of stainless steel materials, including national standards like 1Cr13, 2Cr13, 3Cr13, SUS416, 430, and SUS420F, making it a versatile choice for various industrial applications.

Recommended Applications

  • Precision machinery components
  • Automotive & aerospace parts
  • Medical instruments & tools
  • Food processing equipment
  • Marine hardware & fasteners

Processing Guidelines

1. Preparation: Degrease and clean the workpiece thoroughly.

2. Passivation: Immerse in ACEP-PRE-010 (original concentration) at 55-65°C for 15-20 minutes.

3. Rinsing: Wash with flowing water, then treat with a chelating agent at 60-70°C for 15 minutes.

4. Final Rinse & Dry: Rinse with purified water, soak for 1-2 minutes, then dry (air or oven).
