PVD Stripping Agent

As a leading supplier of electroplating and surface treatment solutions, we proudly introduce our high-performance PVD (physical vapor deposition) stripping agent, a specialized alkaline solution designed for efficient and safe removal of vacuum-deposited coatings. Our PVD stripping agent is a water-based, environmentally friendly formulation that rapidly dissolves metal films, oxide layers, nitride films, and carbide coatings from various substrates, including optical glass, sapphire, ceramics, stainless steel & metal targets and other coated workpieces requiring reprocessing.

Key Advantages

  • Superior Stripping Performance: It delivers fast, residue-free removal with exceptional cleanliness.
  • Broad Material Compatibility: Effective on a wide range of PVD coatings, including TiN, CrN, Al2O3, DLC, and more.
  • Substrate-Safe: Non-corrosive to base materials, preserving dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
  • Long Bath Life: Stable chemical properties reduce replacement frequency and operational costs.
  • High-Temperature Efficiency: It works optimally at 45-60°C, ensuring quick processing (5-30 min immersion).
  • Stain & Contamination Resistance: It prevents re-deposition or oil adhesion for consistent results.

Recommended Usage

  • Constant Temperature Soaking: Heat the stripping agent to a temperature range of 45-60°C. Immerse the coated components in the solution for 5-30 minutes to effectively remove the coatings without damaging the substrate.

Bath Maintenance

  • Monitor the temperature and liquid levels of the solution regularly. Add water and concentrate as necessary to maintain the optimal concentration.
  • The solution should be replaced at regular intervals to ensure continuous high-performance stripping and avoid the buildup of contaminants.
