Zinc Plating Intermediates

Introduction

Zinc electroplating intermediates include potassium chloride acidic zinc intermediates, cyanide-free and cyanide basic zinc intermediates, and trivalent chromium passivation intermediates of zinc.

Zinc Plating Intermediates

  • Potassium chloride acidic zinc intermediates include: Biandide acetone (BAR), Bianylene diacetone (BZA), o-chlorobenzaldehyde (OCBA), high temperature carrier (OCT-5/15).
  • Cyanide-free and cyanide basic zinc intermediates are: benzylnicotinic acid inner salt (BPC), imidazolium propoxy condensate (IMZE), hexamethylene triquaternary ammonium chloride (HETM) and DPE-III.
  • The trivalent chromium passivation intermediates of zinc are: basic chromium sulfate, chromium nitrate, complexing agent and accelerator.

Application

  • Potassium chloride acidic zinc intermediates

BZA is a potassium chloride acid zinc plating brightener, which can replace benzylidene acetone and o-chlorobenzaldehyde with excellent passivation effect and bright coating.

OCT-5/15 is a carrier for potassium chloride zinc plating, which is prepared by sulfonation of alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether. Because its structure contains benzene ring groups, according to the compatibility principle of those with similar chemical structures, OCT-5/15 has the best emulsification effect with BAR, BZA and OCBA with the same benzene ring structure, and is higher than the emulsification efficiency of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate without benzene ring structure.

OCT-5 and OCT-15 can be used together to have a synergistic effect, which can assist in leveling and brightening, and greatly improve the cloud point of acid zinc plating.

  • Cyanide-free and cyanide basic zinc intermediates

Cyanide-free alkaline zinc plating is an environment-friendly zinc plating process, the plating bath does not contain highly toxic cyanide, and the electroplating wastewater is easy to be treated.

Benzylnicotinic acid inner salt (BPC), imidazole propoxy condensate (IMZE) and DPE-III can be used to formulate cyanide-free alkaline zinc plating additives.

Benzylnicotinic acid inner salt (BPC), imidazole propoxy condensate (IMZE), hexamethylene triquaternary ammonium chloride (HETM) are used as cyanide alkaline zinc plating additives.

  • Trivalent chromium passivation intermediates

Through the mechanism of trivalent chromium passivation, we actively explore the selection and proportion of intermediates to provide customers with value-added services.
