Recommended Usage

• Bath Preparation
  • Mix 5% ACEP-PRE-028 with 95% deionized water, stir thoroughly.
  • Adjust the pH to 3.5-5.8 using either acetic acid or 1 mol/L sodium hydroxide if necessary.
  • Ensure the bath container is thoroughly cleaned before use.
• Process Steps
  • Degreasing: Ensure all workpieces are free of oil or contaminants to enable effective surface interaction.
  • Immersion: Submerge parts in the passivation bath for 10-12 minutes.
  • Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove residual chemicals.
  • Drying: Dry at temperatures not exceeding 150°C to maintain surface quality.

Wastewater Treatment

ACEP-PRE-028 contains no heavy metals, simplifying wastewater management. After rinsing, collect the acidic effluent and neutralize to pH 7-8 using lime, sodium carbonate, or sodium hydroxide prior to discharge. The recommended dosage for neutralization is approximately 2 g/L of sodium carbonate.
